Remote for F Series

Can anyone confirm or deny that the standard Pioneer AVIC remote is not compatible with the F-Series? I read somewhere that there was no remote available for the F-90 or F-900.

I cannot confirm, but I did notice that there is no infrared receiving port like there is on the D3.

I tried an R55 remote and couldn't get it to do anything.

I reviewed the manual and no where on the face of the F90BT is there an IR receiver for a wireless remote,unless I'm overlooking it.I believe that since a lot of the featues are suppose to work by voice command that Pioneer felt you wouldn't need a remote.

I guess I figured since I have read that people have been having problems with the Voice recognition, it may be handy to have a remote as a back-up. Plus maybe sometimes you just don't feel like talking to the guy who lives inside ther
