Bolt
If I have my unit on FM stereo when I turn it off, it comes back on to a different station, which happens to be static. I have tried to set the default to one of my preset stations, but have had no luck doing it or finding it in the manual. You would think it would save the last station it was on before turning it off. Has anyone else experienced this? It is really enoying listening to static at startup, and sometimes you have to wait for the boot up before you can change. Thank god I use my IPOD most of the time. HiFiSi
Is there a chance that the unit isn't receiving constant power over the yellow (BATTERY) wire and is losing memory every time you turn the car off?
skicrave
I don't think the issue is that his presets are getting wiped out with each cycle of the ignition, but rather that the system starts on a different station than the one he was listening too when he turned it off. I'll try mine tomorrow to see if I encounter the same problem.

Just at start up, it is always on a different station
Bolt
Well, this is still a problem even after installing the patch. It kinda sucks, but isnt a big deal. I will just never turn off the truck with the radio source on, otherwise I will have to listen to 60 sec of static before I can change it.. It is these little details that bug you.. JLeach12
not sure if this will help but if u have steering wheel controls and you don't have the steering wheel control red(acc) wire with the red(acc) wire on the f series unit it will sometimes hop through stations as the radio retains power and the swc interface shuts off.
