smcguinness Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 There are a couple new mobile frameworks being created, Ubuntu Mobile and Moblin. Ubuntu is a version of the popular Linix flavor Ubuntu and Moblin is a Intel sponsored program. I don't know a whole lot about porting, however, with the expansion slots available I would think that if someone were able to run one of these Mobile OS's off of what little internal memory the D-3 has, then accessing the ports to use an external storage device it could be made into a really cool Carputer.
