Z1 installed in VW .:R32

Recommended Posts

Well, some of you may remember that I installed a Z1 into a 2006 VW GLI:

I sold the car and put the stock radio back in and bought a 2004 R32 in great shape. Of course the Z1 was the first thing I changed in the car. Install was a little different as fat as the speed pulse wire goes. It's a different color but, still behind the insturment cluster.

Other than that, everything hooked up the same way.

Here's a pic of the final install:

And here's the car it's installed in:

No, I know how fast that is... that's why he needs that GT480, to keep him from yawning when he is driving it. I like to bust people with the fast cars. My Ninja ZX12 has 179hp at the wheel (the Duc 996 is only 125ish)... that car with that GT480 would even give that a run for it's money, and not much will on the road.

And it's got boatloads of traction. I like the twisties more than 1/4 miles.

But, as much power as I can put into the R a bike would still beat it on a road corse easy.

In fact nothing short of a Ariel Atom can give a bike a really good run for the money on a road track.
