Fresh20vT Posted August 7, 2008 Report Share Posted August 7, 2008 I had my D2 installed, and the shop refused to do it, no matter how much I offered them, so I figured it was no big deal, having an electrical background, I'll do it myself! The problem is, ive tried many grounds, and none of them work... First I relocated the pin, to the spot above the ground, and figured I'd just use that ground. Tried it, and it didnt work, So then I thought, well if the parking brake is grounded out, Ill use brake sensor wire, No Go. THEN I thought, maybe I need to tap into the MAIN ground for the radio, off the wiring harness on the car. So I found the connection , right where it plugs into the wiring harness for the radio, and I turned it on....and....NOTHING! Im not sure what Im doing wrong here, but if anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted August 25, 2008 Report Share Posted August 25, 2008 All grounds are the same. Make sure you have moved the mute wire to the correct location, and ground it and the parking brake (lt green wire). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
