Who's Getting the Avic-N5 ?

I tried to re-download the jetwaremobile software, but the N-5 still disconnects from the Treo when I switch screens on the N-5...it might just well be the Treo.

I have installed the jetwaremobile twice and still the N-5 disconnects from the Treo when I change screens. Not sure whatelse to do....I am afraid to reset the N-5 because I don't want to lose all my entries.

Are you having troubing pairing your Treo with any other Bluetooth devices?

 

Do you make it far enough to get a PIN# request?

 

Maybe there's a hard-reset on your Treo?

 

Have you tried to pair another bluetooth phone to your N5?

I have tried to reset the treo and redownload the jetwaremobile.com. I am afraid of resetting the N-5 because I loaded a lot of phone numbers to the unit. The owner of the store who installed my unit tried his bluetooth phone, which worked great, but his was not a smartphone.

You said you loaded a lot of contacts / phone numbers.

 

Typically when a bluetooth phone is 'paired' with a device the phone directory is shared to the bluetooth device. I have a Parrot in my car paired with my Blackberry. I can see all my contacts on the Parrot screen.

 

If you never get asked for a device pin it will never pair. Just trying to figure out where it gets stuck.
