Tosh Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 Hey all, i'm gonna install the 700bt in my xterra and was wondring if this would be an acceptable place for the mic?...i circled it in red...it's kinda small but it's like an empty spot for a button..i was thinking of custom making the piece of plastic and drilling a hole in it so the mic would fit perfect so it looks clean...is this to far from me as the driver? thanks! Its so easy to run the mic wire up the a-pillar and the result is the mic being right by your face where it will pick up your voice much better. IMO. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
rufisa Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 for some reason the mic as a long wire, if not probably all models will have the mic incorporated in the unit, so if you really want a better and cleared voice for the person who are listening you, just put the mic the most nearest possible. I also put mine in the dash, but I'm gonna replaced it, because many times I 've to speak more loudly then usual. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
