my_vw_sucks Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 I was driving on I5 and my D3 all of a sudden jumps to LA and recalculates the route from there. I ended up checking the system hardware info and I was getting a speed pulse signal, but the satellite signal was going from good to none, and I was getting an excessive vibration warning. A couple of times it would locate me about a mile to the left of the road I was driving on, and then would go back to LA. It has since reverted to all systems OK in "hardware info", but it won't leave LA When I'm driving, the unit recognizes that I'm making turns, but no forward/reverse motion. Any ideas????
