Is this anygood?

I also have an fj cruiser and had the antenna in the same spot, along with a Sirius antenna on the dash 2 feet away from the gps antenna. I got the same amount of signal as you and gps worked fine, but I was having a lot (every 3-5 seconds) of Sirius dropouts whenever I went into a heavily wooded area. I had the installer move both antennas to the roof. The Sirius dropouts went away completely. The gps signal is a little better (went from 2-3 red satellites down to one red), and the signal bars went up a little to almost halfway.

If you have the vss wire hooked up, you won't need to move it anyway because the gyroscope anticipates your speed and route. If you aren;t getting any verbal warnings of the gps signal being lost, you should be fine.
