At the moment i have a Avic 700bt installed with the bypass. if i wanted to upgrade to the AVIC-X910BT would it be as simple as swapping out the head unit. leaving the old gps antenna, harness,etc. or would i have to re wire everything.

ok so i have and f 700 series, with an amp for subs and some Boston acoustics speakers.i used the good RCA and have well well ground, all cables have been routed correctly including i pod. So every time i switch track on the ipod source it makes a weird whistling noise and i will do it in the back ground but gets 30 times louder when i switch tacks, does not do it on cd or fm, and i tried unpluging the usb and using as an av and it doset make the whistling noise. What could it be? by the way i swaped the pioneer cable out this morning thinking it might be a faulty cables but it makes it exactl

yea they were routed correctly and they are good quality!

amp is well grounded, but i start to get static from one speaker at random times, what can it be, i switched the rca at the amp, and it just switched from static the left to the right.

OK I think Pioneer Deserve A small/light applause. I think Just maybe after this Update we can stop talking so crap about pioneer and the F series, and start some loving on our Navs!! Much better response, Love the new screen brightness. load time still little slow, but definitely duable. On a side note My satisfaction rating for this product went way up!

I have a 5g 30gb and it disconnects all the time is there a fix, I spoke to a representative and he said to change out the cables, Have any one of you fixed this or experienced this? Thanks!

IM sorry I posted this in the wrong section, i have a Avic f700bt and IT just mutes everything when i press the voice command button then it kinda reboots and then i can hear but i never get the voice command screen or anything.

When ever i press the mufti functional button you know the big one that also controls the volume, Its mutes anything playing then freezes, im not muting but i guess trying to open the voice command screen but it never works, Any suggestions.
