I have never hooked up one of these cameras before. An installer I talked to was saying something about +/- polarity and hooking this wire here and that wire there. Julius Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 You can tap the red acc. wire off your radio for your camera +(positive) or any acc. that turn off with the key and tap any black wire for the -(negative) wire.Tap the camera's reverse wire off the L or R reverse light wire on the rear of the vehicle (like HiFiSi said) and you're set.
