supermixer
I'm thinking of adding a backup camera to my Z3 unit. The only camera I've seen in Best Buy is an audiovox camera for about $100. It's not the license plate camera design just the small camera that gets mounted on the back of your vehicle. Do any of you have this? any thoughts? I've also checked out the camera on Pioneer's site. Do any of you have this camera? If so, how do you like it?
avcdp
search for 'camera', 'reverse', backup, tons of threads on this.
defjux921
i've got this: http://www.amazon.com/BOYO-VTL420-Back- ... 767&sr=8-1 its cheap and works... and didn't require any modification to my bumper... its not the greatest quality picture but i don't think any reverse cam is... even the oem cams i've seen in some lexus' and infiniti's were bout the same
zig
Kenwood makes an awesome BU unit. I had it put in a week ago when my Z3 was installed. Sorry, don't have the model # handy but if you need it let me know. I compared it to several on display @ car toys.
supermixer
Sure - if your able to find the model # of the camera you have that would be great. If I may ask - how much was the kenwood camera you purchased?
blackbimmer
Same question here - I've been told the bumblbee or keyhole cams are good. I'd just like to have one that has a wide view range so I can see my bumper down to the ground - I'd like to know how close I am to objects behind me...
