z1 unit upgrade the HDD or upgrade the whole thing?

Guys,

 

I currently have a z1.. Was going to upgrade to one of the F series units, and, apparently, it is a step down..

I don't want to step down

Questions are:

1) Should I just upgarde my HDD to a z3 version?

2) Am I better of selling the z1 and paying extra to get a z3?

3) Is there any better headunit than a z3?

I would like the unit to have a firendly UI, bluetooth, ipod hookup, voice commands, and as big of a screen as possible.

1. Yes

2. Much cheaper to upgrade the hard drive and you get the saem results except a faster bootup and larger music partition with a new hard drive. If you upgrade your existing z1 hdd, then you have the EXACT same thing as a Z3.

3. This is based on opinion, but the Z is my favorite head unit.

 

There are no head units with a larger screen than the Z.

definately go with the HDD upgrade. I did it and it went flawless. It boots up faster and even my menus work faster now.

 

Garrett has the shiznuts covered on this HDD and you will forever be in his debt for putting out such a great deal for basically the same cost as you buying the uograde discs.
