kg_jettaIV
9 topics down from this one... http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17910 OK, so this was useless for you as it has nothing to do with that, but don't mind him too much. There is a setting in the Nav settings. Menu Settings Nav. Settings Warnings (or something to that effect) Then you can turn it off all together or adjust the % at which it warns you. Caustic
Only that this % slider doesnt do anything. I get the warning at exactly 100% of the speedlimit no matter what this slider is set to. Turning off works fine though but that kinda defeats the purpose. -C
omega1139
Thanks for the information. I will find the menu. By the way Jetta. I traded in my 2003 Jetta late last year. Great car but..... Had numerous problems with it. Great car when it was good but expensive when it was bad. Hope yours is better then mine
Head Unit
One of the first things I did was turn this voice down. It occurred to me that the unit should have some specialized voice choices for this: "backseat driving grandmother", "annoying spouse (pick gender)", and so on. "you're driving over the speed limit!" The best part would be being able to turn them down.
