I don't know anything about the 350Z, but a few people installed them into them around here.

I did some backgrounds for them:

Depends on when your unit was made:

Either flash the lights or ground 2 wires.

Its not that hard to hook up, as long as you have some experience hooking up car electronics. Once you find the correct wires, its just a matter of running the wires correctly. If you give the year, make and model of you 350Z, someone here should be able to give you the locations of the wires needed.

That may work, that may not work. It depends on when your Z1 was manufactored. Before July 06, then that should work so long as you hook up your illumination wire properly. You can also buy ducatiboys circuit and it will do that automatically.

If your unit was made after July 06, then there is a simply bypass. Search the Z1 hacks/mods forum to see how to do it.

It is pretty easy. Get a Metra kit and hook it up. The VSS wire is the only white wire with silver dot on the A/C control box just below the stock radio. Oh and on the wiring, you will need to hook up the remote amp turn on to the 2 blue wires on the metra kit. Other than that, it is easy.

I did the install myself and I know nothing about car stereos. I even installed an Xbox:

Grand Theft Auto in your Z:

Before I made a custom bracket:

I also installed dual 10" base speakers.

300W for the base speakers and 400W for the 4 JBL speakers.
(I covered this hole with a factory Bose speaker grill so it could breath)

Amp shelf design (not to scale):

Here's where I put the expansion modules like the Sirius unit and the iPod Adapter:

I ran the iPod cable into the center armrest glove box thingy:
