Just bought a unit and the plug on the unit is white not black .How do i find the yellow and black wire is is not there at all.please hepl.I dont know ware to move the wires so the unit can work while driving .

If you can't follow simple directions perhaps you shouldn't do the mod. What state do you live/drive in? If you are anywhere near NJ then please don't do the mod, the roads here are bad enough. The mod is only for people smart enough to drive and chew gum at the same time.

There are two harnesses. The black one holds all the power and speaker wires. The white one holds all the RCA inputs and outputs, which is the one with the mute wire on it and is the one you use to do the bypass. If you do not have that white harness with all the RCA cables on it, you cannot do the bypass.

 

What is this, like the 5th or 6th topic you've made asking for help about the bypass? You've been told multiple times already, the topics for both the hardware and the software bypasses have more than enough information to be able to do it.

If you dont have the white harness that came with the unit, your 2 options are to either buy that harness to do the hardware bypass, or read up on the software bypass and do that. The only wire needed for the S.B. is the green parking brake wire which is on the main harness.
