pcarey1222 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Share Posted September 24, 2008 I have a AVIC-D3 I have noticed that the cable for the mic was cut. Since there is a shielded red wire inside, along with a non shielded wire inside the cable, it is possible to repair this without it sounding horrible? I attempted to repair this samll cable with two separate electrical connectors, while standing on my head, but it was difficult. Can these wires be taped together? Can I buy a new mic/cable separately? I can only find the entire assembly with the BT box online. thanks for your help. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
