garcilaso
My installer has gone over the bypass and after checking it assures me that there is a disk necessary to complete the bypass. Much what has been exxperienced already, if I reset it only lasts for a few miles before I get locked out. Does anyone knopw about the disk needed for this.

That would make a difference...
04f150fx4
I also heard that a download was needed for my z3.I have done the bypass and hit reset---still not working for any length of time!

If you have a Z3 hard drive, then you do NOT need any other software or cd installed. the bypass is not done correctly. The problem is with the wire that needs to be moved to the empty slot in connector 2. It is 1. in the wrong slot, 2. not seated properly, or 3. not grounded. I assure you that is the problem... mroaches
Mine did the same thing. I actually just reset it and now it isn't displaying that anymore... hopefully it will last like this
NiwPix
I just had the bypass "installed" on my Z1 with Z3 HDD. Seems to be working fine.
