Bman69
update, I downgraded my touch back to 1.1.4 and it works again with my f90bt
fnswimn
i reformatted my iphone and then tried the 2.1 update once again and it works just fine now.
spinedoc
I'm using a 2.1 3g on a f900bt and have av1 set to ipod and audio and video come thru fine. Â One note is that to watch video podcasts if you select it as a podcast it will only play audio (this is with the pioneer ipod cable), but to view video you need to select it as a video playlist. Weird, but it works.
Bman69
yea using the av1 works but it doesnt charge my ipod then and i like using the ipod function in the headunit i dont want to have a black screen while playing my music and i dont like having to press next on the ipod... much easier using the controls on the headunit itself... my ipod cable is in my armrest and its a pita to keep getting in there while driving
spinedoc
Hmm, I am using the ipod cable to charge the ipod AND watch video. I'm now assuming setting AV1 has nothing to do with the ipod cable, I thought it did. Is that a separate input distinct from the ipod cable?
Bman69
yea you need to use the usb cable to the headunit and change the setting from av1 to ipod
g0tw33d
I'm currently having this problem right now. The music and video shows up but there are no sound coming from the system. I already set the AV1 to iPod and restored my phone. Any other suggestions?
g0tw33d
I tried resetting my phone by erasing all the contents which took two hours but I still can't hear any audio/video coming from the phone. Am I supposed to downgrade back to 2.0 and then upgrade to 2.1? If so, how would I do so?
fnswimn
I went in to settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings then i just plugged it back into Itunes and let itunes do its thing. then it worked with 2.
