htharpe
I know that we can't upload our contacts from the iPhone via bluetooth...but has anyone ever tried to hack into the bluetooth address? The BT address is what the D3 uses to connect - so if we could change the address on a another phone (Motorola, Blackberry, Palm, etc) to match that of our iPhone....shouldn't we be able to upload contacts from the other phone, turn the old phone off and go on our merry way? It sounds like it would work - but I don't have a CLUE on how to go about doing this.....any ideas?
IvanRaide
Actually it is the same old question http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 7512#77512 (that link and 2 down from it) I had this idea some time ago, and have links on both ModMyiPhone and Hackint0sh about it, but unfortunately no one seems to know, or care enough. I was also into WM devices and found some interesting stuff, but NOTHING directly about remapping the bluetooth MAC. If you find something, (for either device), I am fairly certain it will work. I'm off for a few days - so I'll try and do some more searching about this. SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE has to have done this.
