AEDan1977 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 I was just wondering if there was a way that when you switch the source off that you can also turn off the power to the remote turn on wires to turn off the amps that are hooked up to the head unit. So the unit is really off, now I know this would not allow voice guidance and phone calls to work but I wanted to know if this option was there. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
HiFiSi Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 Only 2 ways to do this. 1 - Toggle switch on the remote turn on wire. This will shut off the amp(s) but leave the unit powered on. 2 - Toggle switch on the red (ACC) power wire. This will shut off the unit completely and in turn the amp(s).
