xxrequiemxx
Hey Guys, I recently bought the Pioneer GEXP10XMT XM Satellite Radio and XM-NavTraffic Tuner. I have the XM working perfectly. However, when I call XM to activate the NavTraffic portion, they say they need a radio ID. I attempt to give them the radio ID on the actual XM tuner, but they say this does not work. She said she needs the radio ID of the AVIC-Z1. Has anyone ever hooked up the GEXP10XMT unit and activated XM radio and also NavTraffic successfully? If so - what did you have to do in order to do so. Thanks guys. Nick
CamelTowing
Just the ID off the XM radio box has worked many times for me
xxrequiemxx
Hmm... Strange. I'll have to call them back up. Maybe the girl I was speaking to had an 1d10t error
bur1196
I agree with xxrequiemxx, very common problem and occurring more and more... On a side note, for the people who have the XM NavTraffic, would you recommend it?
DiscoLad
Depends where you are. Technically we have it available here in Vancouver, but the reporting is non-existent so it is no use.

psbuckland
I agree. XM only needs one radio id when activating. Just call and ask to add the service to the existing account/radio ID. Mine has been seamless the past two times. Good luck! PSB
