ravinarine
At times I hear a bell ringing, when it rings, it would stop the radio, cd, ipod, etc and the bell would ring for a short while. At first, it thought it came from an ipod song, but then I heard it and the ipod wasn't connected. I wonder if it has anything to do with switching the switch at the bottom of the unit so that I can play dvd's while I drive. I wanted to call Pioneer, but I was afraid that they may tell me that it's because of that switch and that I voided the warranty. Thanks
PaisanNYC
It's not the bypass switch. My N3 is bypassed (BTW you shouldnt watch DVD's while driving for other people's safety if not your own). Are you sure you didnt assign a sound to a POI or an Address Book Entry? blackbox619
theres a bell sound assigned to your destination when you arrive there. go to destination or address book and edit the location. there, you can take off the sound.
ravinarine
I checked and a bell sound was indeed assigned to my home. It may be that. I sure hope so. I thank you for your time and suggestion in helping me [/u]
