Flash memory chip

I'd be interested to see a little more on this, but depending on how the hardware is setup, this could be a major mod.

 

I'm not really sure why this would be of interest though, because storage size of the F-Series isn't currently an issue (and extra storage space won't really do anything for you).

My guess is that the memory chips are hardwired into the board. It would take someone with rock solid hands to attempt the soldering. With that in mind, the entire operating system may be based around a set amount of RAM, so increasing it may not matter. The only way to know, would be to try or talk to a tech(Who worked on the units design). Not sure many people would be willing to brick their unit in order to "find out". :)
