That's life! NT doesn't have a rep in each small area of the country to update the topo of their maps. So there is always error here and there . Wow. Nice way to be an ass. I actually live in one of the biggest resort areas in the USA. Ocean City, MD. I thought these forums were a bit more mature than most. Guess I was wrong.

The newest maps still dont show a strip mall built by my house. It has been up and operating since 2007. There are also many other things missing by my home that have been around for even longer. Seems the maps are 5 years behind their actual release dates.

I havent figured out where to put the juice to make my F900 run faster and harder. Guess it will always remain in the minor leagues of stereos.

This update makes my 900 feel like a whole new unit. It is so responsive and fast loading everything. I wish we could load in pics for the people in our phone book and have different skins for the music player... but I love the speed and the updated stereo separation. Great stuff!

After being away from these forums for ages, I decided to stop back to see what was up. I downloaded this update and actually had some problems installing it. Like others, the button hold while trying to install the CE Update eluded me for a bit. When I finally got it right and got everything installed. I did notice a speed boost... but to my surprise, something even better came out of it. Better stereo separation. My music, for some time, I felt sounded flat. To the point of almost being mono. I have all of the music on my Ipod in uncompressed format, so there should be very little degradatio

I havent visited here in a while, but even after the long wait to the fall, it is promising to hear that Pioneer is still supporting the unit with major updates. No matter how late they are. IGO 8.3 and new maps is definitely worth $100. Any speedup of the system is an added bonus with update 3.0

Leet. When you finish this and it is working with all of the features of the original Pioneer software(Hopefully faster loading), I will personally send you $100 via Paypal. The Pioneer software is just too slow loading. Is there any chance that you could get the software to load from other locations, like say an external hard drive? Also, it would be nice to have a visualization plug-in with some cool full screen visualizations during music playback. Thanks for all of your hard work. I just ran into this problem with all of my Greatest Hits albums. I went back and re-named each of them something different, like instead of Greatest Hits for Night Ranger, I listed it as Hits In The Night. I did this for all but one greatest hits album, which made that the lone survivor. Now, I can call all of them up with ease. Except for Corey Hart... Everytime I say "play artist Corey Hart" it always comes back with "play all albums". Guess I need to rename his album to something a little more easily understood.

I imagine because there is a million ways to phrase something and the search function seems to bring up topics that have no relevance whatsoever. Thanks for the answer though.

I want to get rid of the caution screen when the navigation software loads up. Any ideas? I did a search and couldnt find anything on it. Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to create custom POI icons that will show up on the map, say Mcdonalds for Mcdonalds locations? I was using AVIC FEEDS to et my POI's, but it showed nothing for Original icons and no way to get to them. Any ideas?

ID info for WAV files? I love the lossless audio. The unit doesnt support Apple Lossless, so that doesnt work. I tried the other Apple format tonight and while it sounds good, it isnt brilliant like lossless. I sent a note off to Pioneer to see if they would implement the ability to read these ID tags and Album Art in a future iteration of the firmware. I hope they listen. While Ipods play the Wav files, it is a bitch to try and get album art over. I was unsuccessful in over 4 hours. It just will not add Album Art easily to WAV files. The other info shows up though. There is no way of doing this unless someone reverse engineers Pioneer's software(Not the iGo), as that is what controls everything but the iGo software.
