lsdb23
Guys, My HD RADIO screen is locked up. Can I use TESTMODE to reset the whole unit back to original settings like I just took it out of the box?? The HD RADIO screen is locked up. It has no signal-has no audio-can't change Bands. It was working before I started trying to get MSN Direct to work. I have a Y spliiter for the Antenna and nothing on the HD RADIO screen works. I even tried to remove the y splitter but nothing works. So can I use a default Data.zip to restore the unit to original settings and see if that helps with the screen lockup on the HD Screen?? Thanks for the help.

lsdb23
The reset button doesn't do anything... Is there a reset button on the Pioneer HD Radio unit?? Thanks.
gjas18
No there is no reset button... I am actually having the same problem. The odd thing is my XM works which is connected thru the HD Radio unit.
lsdb23
I think I found my problem. I think the MSN DIRECT and HD RADIO are fighting over signal strength from my stock car antenna due to the Y splitter I installed to get both to work. I got into the car today and the HD RADIO worked. I was like what!!! However I saw my signal strength of my MSN Direct was almost zero. I'm going to try a FM Booster from Crutchfield and see if that helps. XM works because it has its own antenna.... Hope that helps. I will post once I get the booster. I really would like to have both MSN DIRECT and HD RADIO. I would hate to have to unhook one or the other.
