The difference is that American stations end in odd numbers and European stations end in even numbers. I have seen some radios made for both markets that just tune to any frequency, odd or even. I would strongly suspect that in the case of the AVICs that it is just a matter of the Pioneer software. Still, no one may figure out how to change it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

jrdiesel Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 I remember way back in the day, on the old Sony stereos, there was a switch on the top of the unit to switch from US (North America) to European.
