lowbug Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 Hi, I was recently in Birmingham (UK) and every time I put in the destination the unit reset. I tried several times ( i tell you i nearly smacked the screen out the dash! ) If i put in the ICC under POI it found it and took me there.. I've never had this before? I'm sure I saw about a firmware update either here or on the Pioneer website to fix this biut i've searched and can't find anything and the Pioneer website only has the 1.9 firmware... ARRGHHH!! cranbers Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 Sound like your unit is having some issues reading from memory causing a restart. Try doing a reset, via the menu under navigation reset to defaults, reset using the button next to eject and reloading the default language again. Also try putting in a new address, if those all result in the same issue, I would say its time for service. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
