s1xsp33d
I have read some posts about how the Sirius Interface blows, but also some about how it is better than XM's. Which do you prefer and why? Can someone post up some pictures of the interfaces for comparison? I would like to see a thread finally tackle this issue. Thanks! garrettoomey
XM hands down has a 'prettier' interface. It will give you artist, Song name, channel logo, and catagory logo all on the same screen. The Sirius unit (PNR) will only give you 1 line of text and you have to hit a button to change between artist, song name, composer, etc. XM also offers NAV Traffic, which could be good depending on where you live. I have had both, so that's just my 2 cents...
s1xsp33d
thanks garret, anyone else?
CamelTowing
Picture of XM is here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/ephox ... 2621AU.pdf Sirius doesn't have the channel logos, you can't name the presets (it only says preset 1-6 instead of the name), and it only shows one line of text at a time. Sirius sounds better if it makes any difference to you
openendstraight
I live on the west sid of Las Vegas and I have XM, my wife has Sirius. When I drive her car the signal drops all the time. I almost never lose signal. After the contract runs out I am changing her car to XM. Sirius sucks.
