I have two blue wires that arent connected - antenna from the metra harness, and the remote control antenna from the deck harness. Do these need to be connected? Both are solid blue. cranbers Posted December 12, 2008 Report Share Posted December 12, 2008 haha, if you have a powered fm antenna embeded in yoru window your going to wonder why you can't get reception for MSN direct or your FM stereo. The blue wire is what tells the fm power antenna booster to turn on in your car. but if you don't have this, and your factory harness adapter did't say connect blue wire here, then you may be fine.
