cranbers
To rule out software, try starting it up in the testmode and see if it still does the same thing. But it sounds like its hardware, your touch screen is going, going, and it will soon be gone. Give pioneer a call and ask for an rma number and hope you have a spare stock head unit or something else to use for the mean time.

sy628109
Do you have a steering wheel controller connected? I could not use the touchscreen after I moved the volume, it was the steering wheel controller causing it.
