HolyTrojan
Can I just splice the pwr on my bus cable to the pwr going into my f90bt? It'd be yellow to yellow but the whole thing doesn't sound right to me. Wouldn't it draw too much power and if so, what do I hook it up to? The instructions on the xm module suck! I know the pac module splices into the ignition wire but . . . . I dunno, HELP!
terron
for my sirius module, I used the "system remote control" wire rather than the constant +12v source and I have had no problems
HolyTrojan
Thanks for the idea, if I were to do that could I splice into that wire and still get my subs to turn on?
hedge
I really don't think that it's a good idea to use the remote turn on wire to power any other device. It is meant to be a low amp supply just to signal the amps to turn on. People with more than one amp usually just use it to turn on a relay which in turn turns on the amps. HolyTrojan
That sounds right to me too. Is the module designed to be spliced into the power of my head?
CamelTowing
Yes, it will be fine
