CatchMeIfYouCan631
The other night I went to Best Buy with a friend of mine to pick him up a wiring harness for his car (my job was closed already) and while we were waiting for someone to help us, we were fiddling with the 700 they had on display. I walked away to pick up a blu-ray, and when I got back, the screen looked like this: I asked him what he did, but he had no idea, and the map wouldn't zoom back in. Pressing up on the knob, scrolling with th zoom bar, pressing map, nothing worked. 2D worked fine but this is what the 3D looked like. You were also able to move the world around by sliding your finger across it. Anybody ever see this before?
chenzie11
happened to me twice. i just turned my car off and turned it back on and it was fine
bryvale
I've done that before on my f900. you can zoom all the way out and pressing the map button will bring you back in. You can also spin the globe around too. It's something to play with while sitting at a stop light or waiting in a drive through.
Snakeyes
Yep, do it with mine all the time to freak people out. What you are seeing is the 2D map zoomed out all the way. I Found it by accident when playing around with the zoom function in 2D. There appears to be no limit until you get the "world". You can also zoom back in on another country when you rotate the globe but not too much detail is available.
CatchMeIfYouCan631
I'm sure you can zoom back in if you did that on purpose, but this one automatically zoomed back out if you zoomed it in. And it was in 3D, not 2D. I just thought it was weird that it was stuck that way.
chenzie11
mine would not zoom back in at all. both times i was smoking a "dutch" and that may have contributed to the confusion.
