10XMT receiver with N1 and 60MP

I was wondering if my N1 will work with the p10XMt Xm sat with nav traffic after the I put the 60MP update. I want to switch out the xm if the nav traffic will work now. Hopefully someone has tried this already and it worked.

Yes, it will work. You will lose the ability to do nav functions and watch movies while in motion though. There should be a thread in here on how to bypass your unit that works with the 60 software, although it requires taking it apart and soldering

thanks......I saw the bypass instructions. I just don't want to screw up the unit by doing it myself. I'll try a friend of mine that is good with electronics and soldering. thanks again.

So will this tuner also give me the logos for xm on the N1 after the 60mp software update? I was trying to read somewhere about it and can't seem to get the answer. Please help!
