AVIC-F90BT install in BMW e39 (528i)

Recommended Posts

WilliamG, look at the OEM navigation for the RX-8. It flips up on top of the dash and slightly obstructs the driver's view. IMO putting the Avic in is not only better for media use, but also safer.

Back on topic, OP Nice install. IIRC there's another thread on here where the guy put a piece of woodgrain over the dash kit to give it a more factory look, you should check it out.

Guy seems to think that BWM/Audi/Mercedes don't know how to design cars, and Subaru does... I wouldn't pay much attention...

The newer vehicles come with Navis that are high up. My gx470 and fx35 both have high mounted screens.
