tuscani
1. I heard in the D1/D2 Models you have to enter the location while you are in Park and can't change the location until you stop. IS THIS THE SAME with the Z1 Or can it be bypassed? If it can be bypassed is it easy? 2. Can you play DVD videos while you're driving if so is that easy to Bypass? 3. How does this compare to the AVN5495 which I'm debating with. 4. Will this HOOK UP to the steering wheel controls ? We just Purchased a Hyundai Azera Here are pictures of the interior would it fit fine in the car? ducatiboy
1. Yes, it's as easy to bypass as the D models 2. Yes with the bypass. How easy depends on when it was made, but they are all bypassable. 3. I think the Z1 is better than the eclipse, the Z1 has a hard drive, ability to rip cd's to the drive, voice searchable. 4. Probably, as much as any other after market device will, look into the PAC SWI-PS to see if you can with your car. 5?. I don't know, I don't have that car.

ducatiboy
bestbuy said they would install it for $130 + parts is that a good deal?
Sounds good to me, but they won't bypass it, then you will have to pull it back out and bypass it. Here is how to bypass it: http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html
silveradojeff
ditto what ducati said, and id say $130 bucks for the install is a steal if you cant do it yourself. I prefer to do this sort of thing myself but thats just me. i woudl think you probobly could do it yourself with enough time. but you may have more time than money or more money than time. who knows
bongus
Yea...good price on the install. Have you seen some of their work? I always hesitate working with installers unless I can see what they have done before. But like DB said, they won't bypass it for you and you will need to do it yourself or find and independent installer do the bypass for you. Good luck.
