AVIC-90BT Bluetooth Problems Iphone 2.1.1

Recommended Posts

Hello I am new to the board and I have searched and searched the board before asking and I can not seem to find anyone with my problem. Thanks in advance for any help.

I updated my I phone 3g to lastest version 2.1.1 and my radio is running the lastest versions as well. My problem is I have no problem with bluetooth finding my phone but as soon as I make a call I can hear the phone ringing that I am calling but as soon as they anwser I can not heat them nor can they hear me. This same if someone is calling me the radio rings but as soon as I answer I can not hear them or they can not hear me.

I thought this was problem with Iphone but I just tried connecting my wife phone wish is a LG and it does the exact same thing. So I dont know what could be the problem,

I tried deleting the phone both from the iphone and the radio still does the same thing . The phone still shows its connected to the radio and I have to switch the iphone audio source to to the iphone.

It does it with my wife phone wish had never been connected to the radio until tonight. BTW her phone is LG

Might be a long shot, but is there any chance you have the voice volume for calls turned all of the way down?

There are separate settings for the ringer and in-call volume, so that would explain why you can hear it ring, but then can't hear anything once the call has been connected.

Thank you so much that ended up being the problem. I have no idea how the setting on the radio got turned all the way down but that was the problem. I should have checked that but I just overlooked it.
