cntrylvr79
Not to mention the avic needs to see the parking brake wire go to ground AFTER it starts booting other wise the menus will remain grayed out. On a side note, if the installer doesn't know how to ground that wire or hook it up to a switch then youo definately don't what them putting something like an avic in your car. gregnice631
easiest way to do it is to tap into the ground on your wiring harness (black wire)
lazyj11
I hooked up my N2 last night and I ran my ground. I did same thing that gregnice631 said, I ran my groujnd on the harness. Everything works great, I also did the bypass, so it works while I'm driving down the road.

fearziz
so you have to have the ignition on and the avic-d2 running while you do the ground.....correct.....i dont want to screw this up lol.
