I did search for it but was unable to find an exact fix, going a few months back. I noticed the other day that my Address Search button is now "grayed" out and is no longer available, hence I cannot address search. Anyone know what happened? The nav unit still tracks where I am and such, so it must be getting a signal. And this is while stopped, not while in motion. Any help would be great! PS - I successfully did the e-brake bypass right when I put it in a year ago, so that has worked fine for that long. I checked all the wiring and everything is still solid. beans05gasser Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 i actually just joined this sight becuase i am having the same problem, my unit has been bypassed and everything works 100% until a few days ago i noticed that my adress search button is also greyed out, although i can still "go home" and also navigate to previous destinations! However I can still watch movies while in motion. How is this possible? I did the bypass about a year ago do the wife could watch a movie while we drove. I could always use the address search while in motion too. Now I can still watch movies on the go, but the address search has to have the brake on? Isn't this odd? Stigy Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 Take the radio and check the connections in the back to make sure all of the wires are still in their correct places. An out of place wire might cause only part of the bypass to work, if I understand some other posts correctly. Good luck getting it to work! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
