I want to activate my XM subscription but I can't get the receiver id because i can't even get to the intro ch 000. I try to access the receiver via the AV menu but the XM button is gray. I checked the XM signal and it is very strong but the status always says updating. Can someone help me please. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 Make sure that you have the XM data cable AND the IP bus cable connected between the Z and the XM tuner. If they are connected, and you have power to the XM tuner, then the button will no longer be grey. "updating" is refering to XM nav traffic status. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
