WilliamG
I've noticed that on my F700BT, when I use my iPhone 3G, I hear nasty high-pitched squeals during my calls. They're those super annoying frequencies that as you get older are supposed to not hear anymore (bring on the old age!). Well, right now I hear them through my speakers. Bear in mind this is my second F700BT (first one's touchscreen died), and BOTH did/do it. Any input on this one? Thanks guys.
paQ
appears like a grounding issue to me. Or, have you tried to increase the actual distance between the phone and the AVIC?
WilliamG
Don't think it's a grounding issue. Phone is nowhere near the Avic, and it only does it during the call. It's also not constant. Just sporadic, though definitely every call.
capitalsfn
I get it too on occasion when using the Bluetooth. Any other ideas?
WilliamG
I get it too on occasion when using the Bluetooth. Any other ideas? We're probably just more sensitive to it than others. I don't think anything can be done, honestly....

Frum Roll
Sounds like feedback, move the microphone away from the speakers.

ravic
I have the same issue. I am using a Touch diamond. I do hear it when the phone volume is high. superman, What does that mean? ravic
capitalsfn
What phones are you both using? Samsung M520. My mic is up by the sun visor on whatever that column is called. Seems like I hear it the most when there's no other sound, like when it's first dialing.
cino135
hearing it too. its like standing outside the malls major department stores and hearing the high pitch sounds of (assumption) the security system. however, i do not feel as if this can be resolved, as my BB phone is typically in my pocket, or on the dash duriing calls. no change in sound or pitch. SuzukiDan7
I get it too, samsung sch-u540. It seems random and does not sound like feedback so much, it sounds like interference to me but who knows from what.
