budyerr
I understand that the Z1 does not have RDS, is there anyway to at least be able to name the stations manually? Hopefully RDS will be a firmware upgrade..
PaisanNYC
At this moment no. There are no "firmware" updates for this funtionality. I thought it would be a cool feature to have, but since I activated the satellite radio, I haven't listened to terrestrial (regular) radio in months since I got the unit! 03Aviator
Lack of RDS is a huge oversight on such an expensive unit. But the factory system in my Acura is the same way. Stupid. They should fix that.
whtcrxghst
Not really an oversight since they had it five years ago. Nearly all Pioneer units used to have it and none of the radio stations bothered to support it so they took it out, I assume to save money on a useless feature. Maybe they will put it back some day since radio stations jumped on the bandwagon. All of them in europe have it [quote name="03Aviator"]Lack of RDS is a huge oversight on such an expensive unit.
