hockeyguy68
Hi this is my first time using this form i recently purchased a F-700BT for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab as my first Double-Din head unit. Happy so far with the head unit and Navi works great. However after ordering I-pod adapter the CD-IU230V my ipod works however i am only getting sound out of my back speakers and i turn the volume up or down and nothing happens. However when i have the radio on or a CD in i get sound in all speakers. What could be wrong? Could I have pluged the Audio cables in the wrong place?
nomad1987
yes probly theres a rear output a front output and the audio input for the ipod. I believe you could have plugged it into the rear output and they are working as a rear input.
hockeyguy68
If i plug them into front input will it only play on front speakers
nomad1987
correct thats how my old pioneer worked so you just need to use the ipod input
hockeyguy68
Okay so the ipod input audio cables should be labled on the harness? Gonna take a better look at it today. Thanks for all your help.

SoCalPaul
yeah i jjust did that but still dont have any sound still have the truck all apart so if anyone else has any ideas please I just did this on Sat. There are 4 connections for the I-Pod adapter: USB, Video-in (yellow), Audio-in (1 red, 1 White). You must then go to the AV Settings & change the AV-1 input to I-pod. Mine works perfect.
