brian1234
Anyone else have a problem with their steering wheel mute button using the PAC SWI-PS Interface. When I hit the button the radio mutes but I am still getting sound out of 1 speaker. Its the same speaker I get the warning beeps and blinker through from the GMOS LAN adapter. Not sure how to fix this problem. I know the mute buttom is correct because the onstar mutes the radio just fine. Thanks.
joegr
My opinion is that's how that mute is supposed to work. Mine is the same. The volume is dropped greatly, but there is still some sound. I thought it was from all speakers still.
FourG
Another option is to press and hold the "Source" button. That sets the audio source to "off", which is nice because it kills the sound AND pauses the iPod playback at the same time.
MegaMan X
Does your headunit like mine (F90) interpret the mute button from the PAC controller as "ATT Mode"? If yes, then it's working like normal. ATT mode isn't supposed to mute everything, it leaves just a little but of noise on
brian1234
Yeah I did notice it says ATT on the screen. Thanks.
