avic d2 and sir-pnr1 problem

Recommended Posts

I have been listening to sirius for a week with no problems. Yesterday, I took a short drive while listening to Sirius, then turned off my car. Five minutes went by, when I got back in my car and started it back up, my Avic was on off. I pressed the "source" button to only be able to toggle through CD and FM Radio. The Avic was not recognizing my Sirius. I got back home and shut the car off. I turned the car back on and It then recognized the Sirius tuner.

Today, I got in the car to go to work and had no problems on the way there. When I got to work, I tried turning the car off, waiting a few minutes, and turing it back on again. Once again, the radio was on OFF and it wouldn't pick up the satellite tuner. I immediately shut the car off and reconnected the power wire and the Avic recognized the tuner again. On the way home it worked fine. What could be wrong???

BTW, this is a reconditioned SIR-PNR1.
