gtogsx
I tried playing Divx files off of a DVD but system said it was an unreadable format. In the manual it says the DVD player is Divx capable. Does it need to be a specific Divx version? Have people had success with this?
captaindarwin
Bump for the same exact problem. It worked on the 900 at the local Best Buy, but my 90 won't play them.

kevin1488
just burn them to a dvd format..
gtogsx
just burn them to a dvd format.. I could convert it to Mpeg2 but it's just more convenient playing them straight off from the DVD I burn. Conversion takes too much time.

Are you converting the files yourself? If so, what software are you using?

etnpnys
I'm wondering if it's an issue with how folders are organized on the disc... I burned a mixed-format-disc (music and a couple small DVD rips) and it gives me the "Unreadable Format" error, too. Will it read a disc that has multiple movies in different folders? Or do we need to format the disc so that it thinks that there's only one video on the disc?
