A few days ago I bought a wiring kit to put in a second amp, ever since I get really bad static and squealing in my speakers. The squealing seems to come from the alternator every time accelerate. The static is horrible when trying to hear voice directions. I have since tried new amps, new speakers, new RCAs, ground loop filters, noise filters, ground head unit in trunk, removing the wiring kit, and even a new head unit. The only thing that seems to remove the static is if I take one of the audio out female RCAs and touch it to the metal on the head unit.

In the last day it seems to have gotten worse, when I do not touch that RCA to the metal, I have what sounds like a crossover problem, I can't get any vocals out of my speakers.

I have a feeling that my head unit is now starting to go :(
