I have an I-Pod video and when I connect it I can see it come up on the screen and I can control it from the screen but I don't hear any sound. I signed on to post the exact same problem. usa007sam Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 and both of you guys used the ipod cable with usb AND composite video, right? yes you are correct i have the iphone/ipod plugged via the usb rca cables given, so how can we resolve this? could it be possible the ipod video sound might work if i get the Pioneer "CD-RM10" which is the AUX Mini-Plug to Composite A/V Cable? if not, what's my next option? 230-SEAN Posted April 3, 2009 Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 There is a setting on my ipod video that you have to change in order to get sound out from other than the headset jack. I don't currently own an f90bt so I can't say that this would fix it, but its worth a try. Again, the setting to change is on the ipod itself. UberDave Posted April 4, 2009 Report Share Posted April 4, 2009 Yep, in the video settings on teh Ipod you need to change it to "video out". I also had to mess around with some of the format settings on my Ipod to make it display properly on the screen, I think I used "widescreen". One other possibility could be that you hooked your audio connectors up to the wrong set of RCA connectors... Just a thought. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
