hello there.. this is off subject but how did u get to play movies with sound on your ipod. i can play movies on it but can't get the sound to come out through my ipod to my car speakers but it plays music from the list with no problem to the sound. please advise. i have a iphone and i even tried with the itouch/ipod but it won't produce any sound except for the video. There are bunch of others like me trying to find a resolution for this. HELP!

ya, now i have decided to return it. even pioneer asked me to do so unless i wanted to get it serviced in by then since it's under 2yr warranty. i even tried to unpair the bluetooth and hit the reset multiple time when car was turn off and on but no luck. this package came in with the new updated 2.0 firm sticker on it, so that def couldnt b the issue - i assume. i def didn't do any mod settings besides the loudness to super bass. so i guess i end up getting a defective product. now i have made the claims with 6thAVE and they were happy to send me the shipping slip and will refund me when th

I just bought my F-series last week from 6AVE and got it installed by Bestbuy and yesterday it was raining in PA and just got my windows tinted too. When i tried to start the car yesterday then, it was taking forever to load up and kept restarting itself on/off and at the end will come up with a pop up window stating "FATAL APPLICATION ERROR" just like those small warning windows we encounter in our PC's. So i'm lost now, what is the real issue here now? is this product defective? or was the wirring not correctly installed? HELP!

I did the same through 6ave. Made my purchase on tuesday for $540. What backup camera did you go with? i bought the "BRAVO VIEW PC-3 Universal License Frame Color Back Up Camera" for $86 from www.buy.com but walmart and others sells them too online for like $100+. This is a great product and made of heavy chrome metal too. Definitly doesn't give the cheap look or so. And i got it installed by BestBuy for $80.

i guess i could help u out with couple of your questions: This unit is a great set and if u got it installed professionally (which is what i would recommend) would be worth it and fully funtional as it should be. I got mine installed @ besbbuy/geek and they got it all done within an hour half and i am happy. Which is the best configuration for the navi setting? distance wise? would it be FAST, EASY, SHORT or ECNOMICAL? i used to have a Avic-D2 which i just replaced it with the F90 and oh boy, it seems that the direction on this F90 needs to be updated because on my D2 i had the updated 07 software and it was very percise with all directions, recalculations and the address also. I'm from Philadelphia area and i tried to plug in "2400 chestnut st, phila 19103" and it shows me a different address whereas the D2 would directly take me there turn-by-turn. yes you are correct i have the iphone/ipod plugged via the usb rca cables given, so how can we resolve this? could it be possible the ipod video sound might work if i get the Pioneer "CD-RM10" which is the AUX Mini-Plug to Composite A/V Cable? if not, what's my next option?

i did that, and made sure that the AV1 setting was at ipod. it still doesn't play any sound just the video keeps on playing.

I just bought my brand new F90 from 6AVE (via amazon) for $540 includes free shipping too. They were actually selling it for $550 at amazon and at their website for $590 but they price matched the Marc Audio guys from amazon and refunded me the price difference. Plus i rather get it from a credited store and at 6AVE they have online and telephone customer support services too for us. u definetily can't go wrong for buying this unit at a bargain price of $540 which is even less than about half price from it's original $1200 asking price.

Can somebody please give me step-by-step intructions on how to set up the Conversational Voice Recognition for my F90bt? i went through every tabs and can't discover it yet, maybe i'm overlooking something. please advise?
