Analyzer52 Posted April 19, 2009 Report Share Posted April 19, 2009 I recently bought a Avic F900BT off of eBay that is coming with a SIR-PNR2 for sirus radio, but I also want to have HD radio as well. Am I correct in needing a PIONEER GEX-P10HD TUNER? If so, do I need any adapters to be able to hook up both of these to the back of the F900BT? nissanfrontier Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 Don't know what brand HD tuner you currently have, but you will piggy back the two IP-BUS, then only one will plug into the back of the AVIC. You may want to contact Pioneer to see which should be first in the chain and which should be second. It may not matter, but it did for my wifes XM and bluetooth I connected. Just downloaded the manual and saw that in there just want to make sure I have everything I need to install when it arrives. HD Radio goes first and then it piggy backs to the Sirus radio unit.
